Life Money
Life Money was a money and debt advice centre run by Life Church volunteers, trained by Community Money Advice (CMA), and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and AdviceUK. The service was completely free and offered face-to-face, non-judgemental, professional money and debt support and advice in the heart of the community, based at The Fletton Centre in Peterborough.
Life Money helped hundreds of households with a variety of money issues, from debt advice and support, budgeting, working to get people the benefits & grants they were entitled to and giving people the skills to get employment. It ran from 2013 until December 2023, when it permanently closed. By that time it has helped people in the community with almost half a million pounds of personal debt.
